'rust' keyshots
Project 'RUST' was an independent video-game project lead by myself and co-creator Darren Harrison in collaboration with a number of students from Cardiff ATRIUM and a number of online contributors. We made good progress in pre-production, but coding the game created serious problems and the project is now on hold, to be revisited sometime down the line. During the project, I didn't have time to take the storyboards any further than a first-pass rough (see below). So I have revisited the project to create a few presentation paintings (above) and colour key experiments of some of the better shots from the rough board. This will be an on going process and most of the images will be work in progress. Will update as I complete more.

Project Rust artbook (collaborative)_
As quite a bit of progress was made on the pre-production side of the project, I compiled an artbook documenting the design and development process of all the work we did on the project. This goes right through from story concept, to design, modelling and the plans we had for the cinematic. We printed these and everyone who contributed had a copy.
This was a collaborative project, so I only claim credit for the work I did on the project, but I wanted to upload the whole artbook here for anyone interested. Everyone who contributed to the project is named with their work and there's a contact sheet at the end with their details should anyone wish to contact them.
